《离开家乡的日子》Days Away from Home 媒介：数绘摄影 尺寸：300 x 300cm 创作年代：2023 仁者乐山，智者乐水。在这个世界上，有许许多多的人，他们生活在形形色色的环境之中，每一个层次的人似乎都过得很好。记得中国杭州灵隐寺中有一副对联写到：“人生哪能多如意，万事只求半称心”，其语言朴实，却富含诸多哲理。这种“半称心”的生活和知足常乐、随遇而安的心态，不是无奈和消极，而是一种豁达和智慧。这件作品中呈现的是几位从事体力劳动的棒棒军，随着改革开放他们从农村来到了城市，靠着一身力气，在城市里生存了下来。虽然在一些人看来他们过得不是太好，但他们自得其乐的人生态度和随遇而安的生活际遇，让生活在大城市里的人们刮目相看。 Media: Digital Pictorial Photography Size: 300 x 300cm Year of Creation: 2023 People with benevolence enjoy the mountains, and people with wisdom enjoy the water. In this world, there are countless people living in all kinds of environments, and it seems that everyone at every level of society is doing well. I remember a couplet at the Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, China, which says: ‘How can life always go as we wish? In everything, we only seek half-satisfaction.’ The language is simple, yet rich in philosophy. This ‘half-satisfaction’ life and the attitude of being content and going with the flow are not about helplessness and negativity, but rather an openness and wisdom. This work presents a group of manual laborers, or ‘bàng bàng jūn’ (a term for porters), who came from rural areas to the city with the opening-up and reform. Relying on their physical strength, they survived in the city. Although some people may think they don’t have it easy, their attitude of finding joy in life and going with the flow has made people in big cities look at them with new respect.
