When I take photographs with my camera, my eyes are also “shooting.” Often, in the quiet of night, those captured scenes resurface in my mind—moments from different times, places, and people all merging into one. This chaos, strangely, brings me a sense of harmony and peace. It feels like a deeper, more essential kind of beauty.
From both myself and others, I’ve witnessed the profound complexity and contradictions of human nature. In our world, there is no perfectly straight path; people always come and go, winding their way through life with hope in their hearts. What we call “right” is merely a judgment defined by a particular moment or context. Misplacement is more of a norm—our reactions are fleeting decisions made by the brain. What is “wrong” might just as easily be “right,” and what is “right” may prove to be “wrong.”
When facing conflict or crisis, the pessimist sees despair, while the optimist finds hope.
